Erin began dancing at the age of three, and after experiencing the love of, and passion for dance through Dynamic Expressions’ summer program, she switched studios at the age of 9 and danced under the direction of Connie Baynum at Dynamic Expressions until Connie’s retirement. Erin continued dancing at Expressions Dance Theatre under the direction of Cara Patrick and joined the Sundancer competition team until her graduation from high school.
After high school, Erin attended the University of Kentucky and continued her love of dance as part of the 2003 - 2004 University of Kentucky Dance Team for both the football and women’s basketball teams. Upon her return home to the Northern Kentucky area in 2005, Erin began assistant teaching at Expressions and has remained involved in a variety of roles including working backstage at all of Expressions' shows. Erin's dedication and commitment to Expressions over the years led her to officially become a part of Expressions' teaching staff in 2016.
One of Erin’s favorite aspects of being with Expressions since the beginning, is watching the students grow from Tiny Tots to “the big girls” the Tiny Tots aspire to be.
